Bringing Autonomous Mining Technologies to Web Summit
PERSEPHONE is developing technologies to support safer, more efficient, and sustainable exploration and extraction of deep mineral deposits.
By combining autonomous robotic systems, advanced sensing, artificial intelligence, and data-driven geological modelling, the project aims to improve how underground environments are explored, characterised, and monitored while reducing the need for human intervention in hazardous environments.
At Web Summit 2026, PERSEPHONE will present its research and technological developments, highlighting the potential of autonomous robotic solutions for future mining operations.
